Welcome! Thanks in advance for your interest.
This is a year where we are needing to do a large herd reduction in a down economy, so if you are interested in purchasing and the price is the difficulty, feel free to reach out and see what we can do about the price. We care more about the farms our animals go to than about money. 🙂
We believe that it is less stressful for goats to move farms with a friend. Therefore, we offer a 5% discount on two or more goats purchased together.
The best way to contact us is via email: storybook.farm.wv@gmail.com. Though we have a Facebook farm page, the Meta platform is clunky and unreliable. Email is best.
For more information on udders, pedigrees, etc., please visit each animal’s individual page, LINKED TO THEIR NAMES in blue text.
Our whole herd is made up of quality animals. These animals are not culls! We are having to reduce the size of our herd by over 1/3 this year, and these have been tough choices for us. Many are first fresheners because we had ten of them this year, and are keeping some of their doelings.
Juvenile and Adult Does to Share for Breeding

Storybook’s Landini (F6)
Storybook’s Tiger Lily/Mosaic’s Mahogany Obsidian *B
We couldn’t catch Landini in heat this year, and so she would be a 3-year-old first freshener in 2027. She’s a gorgeous girl! Click on her name above to read details.
Offered at $500. Available any time.

Refuge Springs Anaheim (F4)
Storybook’s Peppercorn/One Thousand Hills Elias
This little girl kidded twin bucklings for her first freshening and her udder is lovely: high, tight, and productive. We’re keeping her dam, so she will be shared.
Offered at $550 in milk. Available in late April.

Storybook’s Camille (F3)
Storybook’s Annette/Storybook’s Candyman *B
We kept this 2025 doeling to see how things went. We love how she’s growing but simply must reduce our herd, so she’s available (and I hope no one wants her! shhhh).
Offered at $500. Available anytime.

This is Storybook’s Annette. She is a stunning beauty! (Click on her name for udder pictures and pictures of past kids.)
Annette is out of Gingertop Farm Giselle *P. Her sire, Joyous Farm Le Tigre has a rich heritage of milk lines behind him.
We had retained two of her daughters and are sadly parting with them and her as we consolidate our lines. She is milking well in 2026, having given us twin doelings and a buckling.
Offered at $550 in milk. Preference given (and a price break) if she goes with her remaining doeling, Nanette.

Foggy Fork Farm Ruby Tiara (F2)
Foggy Fork Farm NA Drizzled in Ruby 3*P/Foggy Fork Farm EXD Smooth Salin’.
Ruby delivered buck/doe twins this year as a first freshener and is milking well. Her doeling, Onyx, is a flashy girl. Click on her name above to read details and see pictures of her kids.
Offered at $550 in milk. Available in mid-May
*** RESERVED, PENDING PICKUP***
(Doeling Onyx still available.)

Storybook’s Desiree (F2)
Ginger Top Farm Giselle *P/Green Gables AC Amazing Asteroid *B
Desiree is lovely moonspotted girl: long bodied and long eared! She kidded just fine with twin boys this year on her own, and her udder is small but beautifully shaped. We anticipate that she’ll become an excellent milker.
Offered at $550 in milk. She can leave at the end of April when her bucklings are weaned.
***RESERVED, PENDING PICK UP***

Storybook’s Lorraine (F2)
Ginger Top Farm Giselle *P/Green Gables AC Amazing Asteroid *B.
Lorraine kidded too early (17 days before due date). Kids lived for hours, and were perfectly formed. We suspect it was a butting accident. Her udder is well shaped: high and tight. She has a milk-filled pedigree.
Offered at $550 in milk. She can go anytime.
***RESERVED, PENDING PICK UP***

Storybook’s Enchanting Ella (F3)
Storybook’s Annette/Mosaic’s Mahogany Obsidian *B
Ella is a shy girl, and is still getting the hang of standing up on the milking stand. She kidded easily with buck twins, one of which was a blue roan!
Offered at $550 in milk. Available at the end of April.
*** RESERVED, PENDING PICK UP***
Adult Bucks to Share

Storybook’s Candyman *B (F2)
Candyman was a gift to us from his late father, Green Gables E Asher *B, who we lost in the fall of 2022. Asher bred Candy before he died, so we have had this boy and are sad to see him go.
He has so much to like! His chest is deep and wide, and he has looong ears, great breed character, a deep brisket, and loving personality. He has beautiful neck rolls and is very deep in the body as well. And he’s polled!
Dam: Wonderful Farm SG Royal Candy *P. Candy is polled and a heavy producer.
Sire: Green Gables E Asher *B
Click on his name above to see udders behind him and kids that he has sired here.
Offered at $500.

Green Gables AC Amazing Asteroid *B (F6)
Click on his name above to read more about “Mazy,” seeing udders behind him and kids he has sired here.
Dam: Green Gables FF Cali Eclipse 5*P. In 2020, placed twice on the MDGA Top Ten 305-Day List: #3 for Milk Weight and #5 for Butter Fat Weight. In 2021, Eclipse peaked on test at 14#, and was Top Ten again: #7 in Butter Fat Weight.
Sire: Green Gables MB Amazing Comet *B was small in stature, and big in milk and breed character. He put tight attachments on his doe kids, and Mazy has followed in those hoofprints!
Offered at $650.
Pet Quality Adults (sold without papers)
NONE AT THIS TIME.
See our Kids Looking For New Pastures page for some stellar breeding bucklings from this 2025 kidding season. They were born in March, so will be ready for breeding late this fall.
