Desiree’s name reflects our heart towards her: we desired a last doeling out of Giselle *P, and we got two! Desiree and her sister Lorraine are beautiful sisters from a much beloved doe!
Giselle had, we planned, been retired. But she came into heat and, while we were away, got in with our two best bucks. DNA testing is needed to determine paternity. She got her mother’s beautiful moonspots, long ears, and gorgeous breed character, though!

Giselle has been a powerhouse milker at Storybook Farm, and we love her. In the last few years, kidding has been very hard for Giselle, so we decided to retire her. Imagine our joy when she gave us two last doelings!
In 2021 MDGA’s Top Ten national milk testing program, Giselle placed in ALL THREE categories: #8 for milk weight, #9 for butter fat weight, and #10 for butterfat percent! Giselle is F1, and high in Nubian blood.
