This pretty little purebred girl is one of our keeper kids from 2024. Her dam is JC’s Biscotti, who has a gorgeous and productive udder, which gained her her production star as a first freshener in 2024.
Claire’s sire is Green Gables AC Amazing Asteroid *B. Mazy puts gorgeous breed character on all his kids, and Claire is no exception. Her solid little body is long and her topline level. She is also on the small side.

Claire’s FF udder has a nice shape, great teat placement, and a strong medial, and her twins are getting fat on it. Like her dam and granddam, she likes to hold milk back on milk test days.
This picture is of her first 12-hour separation, which is only 2 weeks fresh, so there’s plenty of time yet for it to fill in!

Biscotti freshened for first time in 2024. Her udder was very productive, and she easily earned her production star. Biscotti was sired by our own Storybook’s Bramble *B, and is out of JC’s Penelope.
She has excellent milk genes, and clearly Bramble increased the height and attachments in Biscotti’s udder (see Penny’s udder below).

Green Gables AC Amazing Asteroid *B has an impressive line of udders behind him. Mazy is line bred on several wonderful Green Gables/Echo Hills animals: Moonbeam, Trillium, and US Grant, to name a few.
His dam is Green Gables FF Cali Eclipse 5*P. In 2020, Eclipse placed twice on the MDGA Top Ten 305-Day List: #3 for Milk Weight and #5 for Butter Fat Weight. In 2021, Eclipse peaked on test at 14#, and was Top Ten again: #7 in Butter Fat Weight.
This is Eclipse’s 2F udder. She is Mazy’s dam, so she’s E’Claire’s paternal granddam.

This is Storybook’s Bramble *B. He is sired by Green Gables E Asher *B. His dam is JC’s Bluebelle 3*P. We bred and birthed him, but then sold him to JC’s barn as a kid. Bramble grew big and beautiful, but passed away after being sold by JC’s.
This is JC’s Bluebelle 3*P‘s 3F udder. She is highly productive with a lovely extended foreudder. She is Bramble’s dam, so she is E’Claire’s maternal great-granddam.
This is Storybook’s Briar Rose‘s 2F udder. She is Bramble’s littermate sister, so daughter of Green Gables E Asher *B and JC’s Bluebelle 3*P.
She is maternal great aunt to E’Claire.

E’Claire was bred to Storybook’s Rocketman for her first freshening. Rocketman is small, and E’Claire is small, so we were going for smaller packages for those who like them. 🙂 E’Claire kidded twins easily: two doelings. They are Storybook’s Twinkie and Storybook’s Cream Puff.
