Ruby is an exciting new addition to our farm courtesy of Foggy Fork Farm. She is half sister to Foggy Fork Farm’s Candace: they arrived at Storybook Farm in mid-April of 2024.
Ruby was born in January, so the hope is to breed her in November of 2024 for 2025 kids. Ruby is stunning: long bodied, level topline and nice rear leg angularity, with a high, wide escutcheon. We can’t wait to see her udder!

Ruby’s dam earned her star as a first freshener with a lovely udder that’s socked on tight.
Drizzled in Ruby was #9 on the 2023 national MDGA Top Ten 1-Day milk test for butterfat.

Truffle peaked at over 8 lbs. in her FF year, nursing a singleton. She really hit the ground running even as an FF. Because there were deaths in the farm family, Truffle did not earn her star before she was bred back and sold.

Ruby was bred to Candyman *B, and she kidded easily at about 8:30 PM, two days early, giving us twins: boy (Storybook’s Jasper) and then a girl (Storybook’s Onyx).
