Storybook’s Twix

Twix is a gentle girl, a lighter-in-color mini-me of her dam, Candy. Twix is polled, like her mom, with soft and expressive brown eyes and a wise, patient look that we love.

We can’t see any moonspots on her, but she does have them because some of her kids are lightly moonspotted.

We have retained her 2026 daughter, Storybook’s Caramella.

This was Twix’s FF udder, near the end of the milking season. It was well attached with great medial definition, and high set. We loved it.

Twix just missed her production star as a FF, but her dam, Candy, was a slow starter, so we expect better things in 2026.

This is Twix’s 2F udder, first 12-hour separation in 2026, nursing two big boy/girl twins. What a difference a year makes!

We love everything about it! This isn’t the perfect picture with her right hind leg forward, but you get the idea. High, tight, well attached, and producing well.

We are retaining her daughter this year, Storybook’s Caramella, by Green Gables Amazing Asteroid *B.

Here is Candy’s udder after 3+ freshenings. Her teats were set a bit too far back, but her production was very strong.

It took her about three freshenings to come fully into her top production, but when she did, she was one of our strongest producing does.

Green Gables E Asher *B was a beautiful, sweet boy and I loved him dearly. In the fall of 2022, we lost him to meningeal worm, but he had bred four does before he died. Beauty is one of the four daughters we retained from him.

Green Gables Snow Camo 3*P is a beautiful doe with a gorgeous udder. We had the pick of Green Gables’ bucklings in 2019, and we chose her son, Asher. We were never sorry! Asher improved udders in his daughters, especially helping them be more snugly attached and higher in the escutcheon.
