Juvenile and Adult Does to Share for Breeding
This is Storybook’s Champagne Bubbles at about 9 months old. She is a now sweet and strong two-year-old. She was bred in the fall of 2024, but didn’t settle. We have no reason to think that she will not settle in the future, but we need to make room for new keepers, and we have her mother and half sister (a yearling), who are staying here for now. She is F7.

This is Storybook’s Annette. She is a stunning beauty! Her eyes are large and lustrous, her ears are looong and frosted and so soft! She has a lovely brisket, a loong body, and tons of milk in her pedigree.
Annette is out of Gingertop Farm Giselle *P. Her sire, Joyous Farm Le Tigre has a rich heritage of milk lines behind him. (Click on either of these names to see more of the genetics behind this girl, and on her name to see her udder pictures and her kids here at Storybook Farm.)
We have retained two of her daughters and are sadly offering her in milk for $650. She is F2.
This is Storybook’s Mayflower. She was a late bloomer; although she is four years old, she has only had two litters. This was a result of our management, not that she didn’t take when bred. (See kid pictures and udder pictures by clicking on her name.) Mayflower is the daughter of one of our best does, JC’s Bluebelle 3*P. We have five of Bluebelle’s daughters, so we are sharing both Bluebelle and this daughter this year.
Mayflower would be best suited to a farm with experienced milkers, because she’s a bit touchy on the stand (but not as bad as during her first milking season.) Her udder has a strong medial and is well attached. She is F5. Offered in milk at $650.
This is JC’s Bluebelle 3*P. She was the first kid born on our farm, and we have retained five of her kids (four daughters and — two bucks) over the years and have made the decision to share her with another farm. (See her kids and udder pictures by clicking on her name above.)
Bluebelle has the best fore udder in our barn, and has passed this trait on to the daughters we have freshened. She has had great production over the years, easily earning her star as a second freshener (after we learned to do milk testing). She’s very loved here and will need a special home. She is F4. Offered at $550.
Pet Quality Adults (sold without papers)
This is Storybook’s Sophia. She is a two-year-old shy, sweet, polled, blue-eyed beauty, and an excellent mother, but she freshened with one teat that has two orifices. For this reason, we are selling her in milk as a pet (no papers), and her daughter (above) as a pet, and her son as a wether (already claimed).
I would love to see dam and daughter go to a great pet home together, and would offer a discount for the pair.

Storybook’s Dappled Willow is a yearling. I was keeping him to see if he was needed, but he’s too closely related to many of my does, so we’re giving him up. Dam: Storybook’s Tiger Lily. She has a picture perfect, high, tight, and productive udder. She’s on track for her production star this year.
Sire: Mosaic’s Mahogany Obsidian *B. Amazing udders and Blackberry’s “royalty” behind this sire! We are using his son Storybook’s Rocketman this fall, because he’s not as closely related.
